Investment Management

Independent investment management for clients who require direct access to decision-makers and an international approach to their portfolios.

01

DISCRETIONARY MANAGEMENT

Discretionary Portfolio Management

Under a discretionary mandate, NRT Wealth manages the client’s portfolio in accordance with an agreed investment strategy, risk profile and mandate parameters.

Portfolio construction takes into account:

K

Investment objectives and time horizon

K

Strategic and tactical asset allocation

K

Risk tolerance

K

Liquidity requirements

K

Concentration risk

K

Existing investments and banking relationships

K

Relevant structural or jurisdictional considerations

We do not seek to impose the same portfolio on every client. Each mandate is defined around the client’s circumstances and managed consistently within the agreed framework.

02

INVESTMENT ADVISORY

Non-Discretionary Investment Advice

For clients who prefer to retain investment decision-making authority, NRT Wealth provides advice on securities, individual investment opportunities and investment decisions.

Our role may include:

K

Evaluating individual securities and investment opportunities

K

Comparing investment alternatives

K

Assessing risk and concentration

K

Reviewing opportunities presented by banks or other counterparties

K

Providing recommendations concerning individual transactions

K

Supporting the execution of client-approved investment decisions

NRT Wealth provides its assessment and recommendation while the client retains authority over the final investment decision.

DIFFERENT MANDATES ·
ONE DISCIPLINED APPROACH

Investment decisions are made in accordance with the client’s mandate rather than driven by product distribution.

NRT Wealth provides discretionary portfolio management and non-discretionary investment advice within the scope of its Investment Adviser (Unrestricted) license.

03

INVESTMENT APPROACH

How we approach investment decisions

We do not regard complexity as an objective in itself.

The starting point is to understand what the capital is expected to achieve, what risks are acceptable, what liquidity must remain available and what constraints apply.

Our investment process is centered on four areas:

01

ALLOCATION

Determining an appropriate balance between growth, income, liquidity and capital preservation.

02

SELECTION

Assessing investments according to fundamentals, valuation, risk and their intended role.

03

RISK

Monitoring concentration, liquidity, currency, market and counterparty exposures.

04

REVIEW

Reassessing investments and allocations as markets, valuations and client circumstances change.

04

INTERNATIONAL PORTFOLIOS

Working across banks and jurisdictions

International wealth is frequently held with more than one bank or custodian and across several jurisdictions.

NRT Wealth can manage or advise within this environment while maintaining a consolidated understanding of the client’s objectives, exposures and constraints.

Where appropriate, we work through existing banking and custody relationships rather than requiring assets to be transferred to a preferred custodian.
